Staff Of The Equality Commission For Northern Ireland

That this House calls on the Government, and in particular the Northern Ireland Office, to ensure that immediate supplementary regulations are introduced in respect of the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland (Supplementary Provisions) (NI) Order 1999 to provide tha the staff who transfer to the new Equality Commission from the other equality bodies have all their rights and entitlements in terms of conditions and pension recognised, protected and enshrined in legislation in order that they enjoy the same rights and protections as those staff transferring to the North/South Implementation bodies.
