Fuel Poverty In Scotland

EDM number 883 in 1998-99, proposed by Alan Simpson on 26/07/1999.

That this House welcomes Labour's commitment, in the Manifesto for the Scottish Parliament, to eradicate fuel poverty in two terms of that Parliament; but expresses its dismay that this was omitted from the coalition agreement with the Liberal Democrats, because the latter party would not agree to such a commitment.

This motion has been signed by a total of 21 MPs.
