Fluoride In Drinking Water

EDM number 874 in 1998-99, proposed by Jimmy Wray on 23/07/1999.

That this House recognises that there are strong opinions held both for and against fluoridation of drinking water supplies; notes that the Government's recent decision to undertake a scientific review of water fluoridation is a welcome development; and believes the scientific review should be complemented by a public inquiry before any further consideration is given to the extension of water fluoridation programmes.

This motion has been signed by a total of 22 MPs.
