EDM number 785 in 1998-99, proposed by Jeremy Corbyn on 02/07/1999.

That this House deeply regrets the death of Sola Sierra, the Secretary of the Committee for the Families of Political Prisoners and the Disappeared in Chile; and applauds her lifelong work for human rights and justice, from her work with the Popular Unity Government from 1970 to 1973 to her steadfast campaign to bring the perpetrators of state violence to justice, including her visit to Britain in 1998 to advance the cause of Chilean human rights.

This motion has been signed by a total of 25 MPs.
