RELEASE OF FILES ON GENERAL PINOCHET'S REGIME BY THE CIA AND DIA

That this House welcomes the release of files on General Augusto Pinochet's regime by the CIA and US Defense Department's Defense Intelligence Agency; notes the involvement of the said agencies and their condoning of human rights abuses in Chile during that period; and calls on Her Majesty's Government also to release all files on the subject of Chile during General Pinochet's dictatorship, including all diplomatic reports between Chile and the United Kingdom during this period.
