Success In Performing Arts

That this House congratulates Methodist College, Belfast, for its successes in the performing arts, notably the Girls' Choir in the Sainsbury Choir of the Year competition and representing school dramatic work in Ireland in the BT Competition at the Oliver Theatre on 12th July; welcomes their Chamber Choir's participation in Westminster Abbey and St George's Chapel, Windsor, in August; gives the school choir its best wishes for the forthcoming tour in the USA; and encourages the governors, headmaster and staff as they seek to provide a modern performing arts building for the next century.
