Matra Dynamics Beyond Visual Range Air To Air Missile

EDM number 732 in 1998-99, proposed by Lindsay Hoyle on 16/06/1999.

That this House notes the capabilities of the Matra Dynamics Beyond Visual Range Air to Air Missile, which is built in the United Kingdom at Lostock, between Chorley and Bolton, and Stevenage; and calls on the Government to give careful consideration to making a recommendation for purchase of the missile for the Royal Air Force, which would give the RAF air supremacy, as no other missile has the same capability; and which would boost employment and technological expertise to re-enforce Europe's leading position in aerodynamics.

This motion has been signed by a total of 11 MPs.
