That this House believes that customers of major advertisers in The Sun, Wednesday 26th May 1999 will expect the major companies and charities, including Tesco, Automobile Association, Vodaphone, Tiny Computers, Alliance and Leicester, Currys, Woolworths, Vauxhall, Debenhams, British Heart Foundation, Shredded Wheat, Sainsburys, Kwik Save, Pontins, Cancer Research Campaign, Iceland, Safeway, Littlewoods, Daihatsu, Coral and William Hill to make plain to the owners of the newspaper that it was a commercial misjudgment and an affront to public opinion to publish an old photograph.
