Cityflyer Express
EDM number 674 in 1998-99, proposed by Lindsay Hoyle on 20/05/1999.
That this House believes that the acquisition of CityFlyer Express by British Airways will allow CityFlyer to maintain and develop the excellent services that the company provides for its passengers; notes that the merger will secure the future of the 677 employees at CityFlyer and that is will also preserve competition on short-haul flights from South East airports in the United Kingdom; and believes therefore that the merger should be approved.
