CENTENARY OF THE NATIONAL MARKET TRADERS' FEDERATION

That this House congratulates the National Market Traders' Federation on its centenary; notes that it currently represents the interests of some 26,000 market traders throughout the United Kingdom; believes that markets, which have been part of the nation's culture and heritage for centuries, have an important role to play in the diversity of retailing; and wishes the Federation continued success in its second century of being the voice of market trading.
