Sexual Orientation (Discrimination)

That this House welcomes the statement of the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Trade and Industry which reaffirmed Labour's manifesto commitment to 'end unjustifiable discrimination wherever it exists'; recognises that such discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation has yet to be ruled completely unlawful; and calls upon the Government to bring forward proposals to do so within the coming year.
