Chief Inspector Of Ofsted

EDM number 504 in 1998-99, proposed by Alice Mahon on 29/03/1999.

That this House understands that evidence has now been made available to the Government, that as a senior civil servant, Chris Woodhead has not told the truth and attempted to cover up an earlier relationship with a pupil when he was a teacher; believes this renders him unfit to head OFSTED; and calls for his immediate resignation.

This motion has been signed by a total of 17 MPs.
