Conduct Of The Prime Minister (No. 2)
EDM number 297 in 1998-99, proposed by Peter Bottomley on 09/02/1999.
That this House considers the answer by the Prime Minister about the health outcomes of the abolition of duty free imports of tobacco within the EU to be a worrying echo of his previous problems with tobacco and Formula One; and invites him to be more open about the reasons and possible outcomes of his odd desire to continue the import of cheap cigarettes while heading a government proclaiming its desire to reduce smoking.
