That this House urges the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry to make rapid progress in investigating allegations concerning the business empire of the late Robert Maxwell; further urges him to make equally rapid progress in investigating the allegations of company law offences by the honourable Member for Coventry North West and to decide as soon as possible whether any prosecutions are necessary and to make an early statement to this House of how he intends to handle these important issues.
