BBC Five Live Programming

EDM number 1002 in 1998-99, proposed by Stephen Hepburn on 10/11/1999.

That this House laments the demise of BBC Five Live's cutting edge satirical news programme The Treatment; fears Saturday lunch times for many listeners will feel empty after the disappearance of Derek 'Robbo' Robson's measured analysis of sporting matters: will miss Stuart Maconie's chairmanship of a programme that has become essential listening for Cabinet ministers and cabbies alike; and urges the BBC to reconsider its decision to end The Treatment.

This motion has been signed by a total of 1 MPs.
