leave out from 'House' to end and add ' applauds Lambeth Labour Group for being the first political group in the country to demand that all councillors and candidates undergo financial screening and probity checks; recognises the swift action taken by Lambeth Labour Group in ensuring the immediate resignation of a councillor whose financial affairs were called into question; and notes that it is the current Lambeth Labour Group that has consistently led the fight against fraud in Lambeth Council through measures such as championing the council's corporate anti-fraud team, setting up one of the first council audit committees in the country and proposing a rolling programme of propriety checks on Lambeth staff.'.
