High Speed Channel Tunnel Rail Link;amdt. Line 10:

EDM number 770A1 in 1997-98, proposed by Andrew Mackinlay on 11/02/1998.

leave out from 'Kingdom' to end and add ' but above all else calls on CTRL or its successors immediately to address the plight of the small and medium size businesses in Kent and in Thurrock, Essex, which wish to agree the timing and details of the purchase of their blighted properties so that they can relocate with the minimum commercial disadvantages and job losses; is dismayed that in the great sweep of things the interests of these small businesses facing closure are being ignored by the principal players in the proposed Channel Tunnel Rail Link; and calls for this issue to rank equally with all the other considerations referred to above.'.

This is a ammendment to 770.

This motion has been signed by a total of 26 MPs.
