Health And Safety Executive

EDM number 737 in 1997-98, proposed by Peter Brand on 04/02/1998.

That this House recognises the expertise of the HSE in the workplace but is concerned that it does not actively seek to investigate the possible ill effects of agro-chemical incidents on members of the public; and calls on the Government to instigate a public inquiry into its effectiveness.

This motion has been signed by a total of 20 MPs.
