National Lottery Grant To Mesmac
EDM number 713 in 1997-98, proposed by Christopher Gill on 29/01/1998.
That this House notes with dismay that a National Lottery grant of ú74,500 was made to MESMAC; notes that MESMAC is a homosexual advice organisation; further notes that the money is going towards buying contraceptives for use by underage male prostitutes as young as twelve; expresses anxiety about the consequent effects on the family and public morality; demands that the National Lottery Charities Board revokes the grant; and calls upon the Home Secretary to investigate the activities of MESMAC.
