South Yorkshire Supertram
EDM number 659 in 1997-98, proposed by Richard Allan on 19/01/1998.
That this House expresses its concern at the decision of the High Court in respect of the commitment of the previous government to pay for the full costs of the South Yorkshire SuperTram; fears that this will discourage other authorities from implementing new rapid transit systems; and calls on Her Majesty's Government to use its discretion to pay the sum still in dispute.
This motion has been signed by a total of 12 MPs.
