Dyfed/powys Health Authority And Community Hospitals
EDM number 51 in 1997-98, proposed by Richard Livsey on 22/05/1997.
That this House totally rejects the Dyfed Powys Health Authority's proposed closure of eight community hospitals as a solution to its forecasted ú11 million deficit over the next five years; notes that these proposals have rightly caused outrage in the communities that could be affected; and calls upon the Secretary of State for Wales to restore the authority's Welsh Office funding formula as it was prior to the changes forced upon it in 1992-93.
This motion has been signed by a total of 6 MPs.
