Nhs Trusts And The Secretary Of State For Health
EDM number 492 in 1997-98, proposed by Peter Bottomley on 24/11/1997.
That this House believes that National Health Service trusts benefit by service of good non-executives; recognises that for weeks past and until the Secretary of State fulfils his duty to appoint or to reappoint people to the vacancies for Worthing and Southlands hospitals, an unfair and unnecessary burden falls on the remaining two individuals; and calls on the Secretary of State to give up his ministerial salary until he has announced who has been invited to accept reappointment or appointment.
This motion has been signed by a total of 2 MPs.
