Exposure To Organo-Phosphates And Other Dangerous Chemicals

That this House believes that exposure to harmful chemicals, including organophosphates, is a serious hazard to health; notes that there is currently a lack of information on the occurrence and effects of injuries and illnesses resulting from such exposure; and therefore calls upon the Government to make any accidental exposure to chemicals which results in admission to hospital or consultation with a doctor a notifiable event and to empower the Health and Safety Executive to examine the medical records of any person who suffers such exposure with the permission of the patient.
