That this House congratulates Sunderland Association Football Club on the official opening of its magnificent new ground the Stadium of Light; acknowledges the enterprise and dedication of the board of directors particularly Chairman Bob Murray who has never waivered in his efforts for the success of the club; and trusts that the results on the field of play will soon match the splendour of the new stadium ensuring the success that the club so manifestly deserves.
