Northern Ireland Cultural Exchange Bureau In Usa

That this House notes the tremendous contribution of men and women from Northern Ireland and the island of Ireland to the cultural and economic life of the United States of America; accordingly condemns the decision of the Northern Ireland Office to close the Northern Ireland Cultural Exchange Bureau in Washington DC; believes the Bureau has made a significant and positive contribution to the mutual understanding in the USA; and in the interests of the current political process and noting the level of interest of the USA in the political process, calls on the Northern Ireland Office to restore funding to the Bureau.
