University College In Cornwall

EDM number 328 in 1997-98, proposed by Andrew George on 30/07/1997.

That this House wholeheartedly supports the initiative to re-establish a University College in Cornwall; welcomes the fact that the cap on student numbers will be lifted; and calls upon the Government to support the initiative both for its contribution to economic development as well as improved provision in a part of Britain which has hitherto had a demonstrable lack of higher education facilities.

This motion has been signed by a total of 16 MPs, 1 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
