Football Task Force And Standing Paddocks

EDM number 311 in 1997-98, proposed by Terry Lewis on 28/07/1997.

That this House welcomes the establishment of a football task force; notes that its aim is to hand the senior game back to the fans; recognises the safety imperatives which led to the demand for all seater stadia; but believes, nonetheless, that low rise standing room paddocks can be safely installed, to provide cheaper accommodation and the singing areas which many football fans crave.

This motion has been signed by a total of 17 MPs, 1 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
