Flooding In Poland

That this House notes with concern the devastating flooding in central Europe, which has had a particularly dramatic effect on the people of Poland; is pleased to see the effort that the European Union and the British Government has already made in sending financial assistance to the Polish Government; hopes that Britain will continue to play its part in helping to alleviate the distress of the Polish people; and congratulates the Foundation for Polish Culture for co-ordinating offers of assistance from the public in this country.
