Employers Liability Insurance And Company Annual Reports

That this House notes with concern that former employees face considerable difficulty in identifying the insurers responsible for employers' liability insurance where a company has gone into liquidation and that legitimate compensation claims applicable to a period when an insurance company has accepted a premium for employers' liability are thereby frequently impeded; and accordingly considers that investigation should be undertaken into the practicability of requiring the name of the insurer responsible for providing employers' liability insurance to be included as a mandatory item in company annual reports.
