Community Care In Scotland

EDM number 195 in 1997-98, proposed by Ray Michie on 02/07/1997.

That this House believes that the report of the Scottish Affairs Committee on The Implementation of Community Care in Scotland should not be neglected; recalls that the committee drew attention to the need for a reappraisal of the current funding of community care, to the need for independent registration and inspection of all types of care and to extend to young carers the entitlement to an assessment of needs; and calls on the Government to implement these recommendations as soon as possible.

This motion has been signed by a total of 14 MPs.
