Keighley Bus Museum

EDM number 1710 in 1997-98, proposed by Ann Cryer on 28/10/1998.

That this House congratulates the trustees of the Keighley Bus Museum on their success in rescuing the splendid core collection of buses previously held at Transperience, Bradford; views with great pleasure the fact that these magnificent examples of West Yorkshire's transport heritage will now have a long and secure future on public display in Keighley, thus giving much pleasure to present and future generations; and also wishes to put on record its gratitude to all those who contributed in any way to this magnificent outcome, including, Bradford Metropolitan District Council, Keighley Business Forum, the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the honourable Member for Stoke on Trent Central, when Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department of Culture, Media and Sport.
