MCDONALD'S SPONSORSHIP FOR DOME

EDM number 1698 in 1997-98, proposed by Lembit Opik on 27/10/1998.

That this House notes the Government's stated ambition to make the Millennium Dome Experience a showcase for British culture and industry at the turn of the Millennium; further notes the possibility of sponsorship by McDonald's running into millions of pounds; and believes that significant sponsorship by McDonald's would be entirely against the spirit of the project.

This motion has been signed by a total of 16 MPs.
