Mr Ian Mckee
EDM number 1640 in 1997-98, proposed by Desmond Browne on 30/07/1998.
That this House notes with concern the activities of the lobbyist and member of the SNP candidates panel, Ian McKee; notes that in his correspondence with honourable Members he argues for the continued regulation of pharmaceutical pricing at a United Kingdom level and calls for long term stability, with no sudden and detrimental changes and a stable political and economic environment for the foreseeable future; further notes that none of these objectives are congruent with the SNP's platform of separatism; expresses concern that a would-be Nationalist member of the Scottish Parliament is actively engaged in lobbying against his party's agreed policy; and calls for the honourable Member for Banff and Buchan to state how one of his parliamentary candidates is allowed to lobby against SNP policies.
This motion has been signed by a total of 1 MPs.
