That this House welcomes George Bowyer's single, Guardians of the Land, which is to be released in record shops on 10th August; supports the message of the single, which is listen to us; notes that George wrote the song last year whilst marching from Scotland to London for the Countryside Rally on 10th July which was attended by over 100,000 people; calls on supporters of the countryside to buy the record, the proceeds of which will be used to promote a better understanding of the rural way of life; eagerly awaits the Government's presentation of its rural policy; and calls on the Government to take into account the concerns of George Bowyer and the quarter of a million people who travelled to London on 1st March for the Countryside March.
