Animal Cruelty In Austria

EDM number 1608 in 1997-98, proposed by Ronnie Fearn on 27/07/1998.

That this House abhors the public killing, disembowelment and crucifixion of three bulls and six pigs as part of an art action staged by the Orgy Mystery Theatre at Prinzendorf Castle, Mistelbach, Lower Austria; and urges the Government to make strong representations through the European Parliament requesting that they take action to stop this barbaric practice.
