That this House recognises that community nursing has become a demanding and specialized profession, central to community care policies requiring the highest standards of professional integrity and significant levels of expertise and qualification to fulfil its challenging responsibilities; and calls on the Government to resist pressures for the deregulation and registration of community nursing and associated work.
