SUTTON'S GREEN TRANSPORT MAP

EDM number 1183 in 1997-98, proposed by Paul Burstow on 01/04/1998.

That this House welcomes the launch of Sutton's Green Transport Map, Sutton and Beyond Without a Car, believed to be the first of its kind in the United Kingdom, which lists bicycle routes, bus routes and train stations; commends the Transport Working Group, the Centre for Environmental Initiatives, Bjuice Design and Disability Action Sutton for producing the map and Tesco and the London Borough of Sutton for funding it; and calls on the Government to promote such maps as part of an integrated transport policy.

This motion has been signed by a total of 15 MPs.
