That this House notes the abolition of Hereford and Worcester County Council; recalls the opposition to the original merger of Herefordshire and Worcestershire; and welcomes the re-creation of a county council for Worcestershire, wishing all those who will work for it, whether as elected members, officers or other staff, every success in their important service to the people of the county.
