Incitement To Racial Hatred

EDM number 1002 in 1997-98, proposed by John Cryer on 11/03/1998.

That this House is committed to multiculturalism and combatting racism; supports the Government's determination to stamp out incitement to racial hatred; is concerned that extreme right-wing organisations are continuing to publish and distribute inflammatory material inciting racism and anti-Semitism; and urges the Government to act rigorously to take legal action against the producers of such material.
