Crash
EDM number 705 in 1996-97, proposed by Liz Lynne on 19/03/1997.
That this House regrets that the British Board of Film Classification has passed for release and without any cuts the film Crash, a film which depicts deliberately engineered car crashes in the pursuit of sexual pleasure; notes further that car crashes are the cause of thousands of deaths and serious accidents every year; and therefore regrets that such a film will now be able to be seen in cinemas up and down the country.
This motion has been signed by a total of 15 MPs.
