That this House notes, but it is not fooled by, the wheeze operated by LTS Rail who seek to minimise their embarrassment at statistics relating to delays and cancellations of trains travelling to London from Essex by terminating their London-bound journey at Barking where they are turned around in order 'to catch up on the timetable'; and calls on the Regulator and OPRAF to monitor this practice and to impose appropriate penalties.
