Widening Of M25
EDM number 607 in 1996-97, proposed by Andrew Mackinlay on 04/03/1997.
That this House deplores the fact that the Secretary of State for Transport is still unable or unwilling to announce his response to the 4000-plus objections received last summer to the scheme to widen the M25 to 10-12 lanes between junctions 12 and 15; and believes this adds credibility to the suspicion that, for electoral reasons, the Secretary of State has no intention of making a statement before the General Election.
This motion has been signed by a total of 12 MPs.
