Rounding

That this House notes that the reference to good practice of rounding in the Economic Secretary's Answer of 24th February, includes a sentence of 35 words referring to page 37 of the second edition of Plain Figures recently published by the Stationery Office, the obtaining of a copy of which in the Library entailed some work and waiting by several people; and would have preferred and expected the seven words 'round all numbers to two effective digits' to have been given in a more economical, efficient and effective reply.
