Nanotechnology And The Royal Yacht

EDM number 526 in 1996-97, proposed by Paul Flynn on 12/02/1997.

That this House despairs at the cuts in British nanotechnology research; and asserts that future generations will wonder at the miracles of nanotechnology and be baffled that Britain lost its international nanotechnology pre-eminence at the precise moment when the country was spending on a Royal Yacht to beg foreign countries, which lack Britain's scientific inventive genius, to site their branch factories here.

This motion has been signed by a total of 17 MPs.
