Crystal Palace National Recreation Centre
EDM number 494 in 1996-97, proposed by Kate Hoey on 06/02/1997.
That this House considers that the Crystal Palace National Recreation Centre provides a valuable service to sports participants and spectators at both national and local level; is dismayed at the reported proposal no longer to fund the Centre at the end of the year; and believes that as a matter of urgency the Minister responsible for London and the Minister of Sport should formulate a plan to restore Crystal Palace to international standards so that it may one again be used for international, national and community sports events.
