That this House congratulates the City of Birmingham's Environmental Services Department pest control team on winning first prize in the Local Government Top Team Award competition in 1997 run by the Local Government Management Network and supported by employers' organisations in the West and East Midlands, and especially commends its rapid response system in dealing with a record 6,600 wasp nests last year.
