Twenty-Fifth Anniversary Of Bloody Sunday

EDM number 428 in 1996-97, proposed by Jeremy Corbyn on 21/01/1997.

That this House congratulates Don Mullin for his book, Eye Witness Bloody Sunday; notes that the book's painstaking research shows that the central conclusions of the Widgery tribunal were deeply flawed; and therefore calls on the 25th anniversary of Bloody Sunday for a new independent inquiry chaired by an international figure so that justice is seen to be done both for those who died and their families.

This motion has been signed by a total of 18 MPs.
