Design In Business Week

That this House congratulates the Design Council on organising the first Design in Business Week for 24th October to 1st November 1996; believes that the effective use of design by business is crucial to improving the competitiveness of the United Kingdom; wishes the organisers and the supporters of the 30 different events taking place in this particular week every sucess; and hopes that this event may grow into a major national annual opportunity of highlighting the importance of design to commercial success.
