Human Rights In Sudan

EDM number 920 in 1995-96, proposed by David Alton on 21/05/1996.

That this House takes note of the work of Light and Hope for Sudan in encouraging a just settlement to the war in that country; and follows with interest the visits of the Secretary Reverend Dr Richard Rodgers to meet members of the Sudan Government and other parties to consider steps towards a resumption of the IGAD peace process.
