John Redmond And Herbert Asquith
EDM number 919 in 1995-96, proposed by Andrew Mackinlay on 21/05/1996.
That this House regrets that, due to building works and alterations, the busts of distinguished parliamentarians John Redmond and Herbert Asquith have been removed from display in the Palace; notes that the construction of new kitchens will make it impossible to reinstate the bust of John Redmond in its original location; and calls on the Advisory Committee on Works of Art to find new and appropriate locations for these monuments as a matter of urgency.
This motion has been signed by a total of 17 MPs.
